Cricket is a religion in the sub-continent; with a mass following cutting across genders, race and age. Although the western world has still not embraced this sport, it’s followed by Asians settled there. Last Sunday, I rounded up a group of my friends, 14 in all and headed for the nearest wasteland to teach them the gentleman’s game. We split the group into two teams and got on with the game. As expected the game was chaotic, ended quickly and wasn’t particularly entertaining, it was more than I could have asked for. My friends were out there getting their hands dirty trying to learn the sport I totally worship, after the game we got back to our usual routine of soccer and had a much more fruitful game.

The Pashtuns are a very proud race with a rich cultural history. Their full length body coats are believed to be fusion of India’s Salwar Kameez and the British Coat. These embroidered suits don’t come cheap though and that’s what I realized when I had to buy one for a friend’s wedding. Costing anywhere between US $ 200 to US $ 3000, these can burn a hole in your pocket but they sure leave a smile on your face when you look at yourself in the mirror. I settled for a US $ 250 suit but wearing it gave me the feel of an 18th century Indian Royal and that’s when I felt every penny spent on the suit was money well paid for.

My pet dog Dodo
July 22, 2010 — 5:28 amI am very fond of pets. I always prefer to have pet dog in my home. My doggy Dodo is one of my family member. He was 2 months old when I got him. He was very naughty from the beginning. Always he used to trouble my mom by doing some nuisance things. It is a dark black Labrador species. It belongs to a good pedigree. Form childhood he is a foody. He just loves eating. 2.Dodos daily routine is very interesting. He gets up by morning 5 am. After that he comes and starts calling me by pushing me with his blacky tail. I take him out for a walk. After 30 minutes of walk he wants his breakfast to be ready. After having breakfast he goes to spend his time with my father. As the clock turns 1 pm he starts barking for lunch. He always prefers non veg. After having lunch he goes to sleep. Evening when everybody is back at home after office he starts playing with us. He feels very happy when we are there. We love our DODO so much. I choose Labrador because it is very cunning and bold species. Wooden dog steps are very necessary .Selecting a dog and training a dog plays an important role. I can’t think my life without DODO.

— 3:24 amIf I were given an option of picking between a Ferrari and a college degree, I would pick the Ferrari and not without reason. The Ferrari Formula-one cars are not on sale; but if I could get hold of a genie I’d settle for just one wish: a Ferrari formula-one car. While I may not necessarily be adept at handling this incredibly fast and highly desired vehicle, just the thought of laying my hands on this vehicle will satisfy me. The thrill of driving at speeds in excess of 200 mph and getting people to turn and look at the car are reason enough for me to crave for it! The rich history of the Italian car manufacturer and its active involvement in Formula One has kept me true to the immensely popular carmakers.
