Fall and Rise

I spent most of my day today helping friends move into their dorms at my college. I live off campus, so I’ve been in town all summer. This morning I went swimming with my girlfriend at her parents’ motel. Her mother doesn’t approve of me that much, because, well, I’m a girl too. After that, I drove her to the pet store to buy bloodworms for her fish (she’s an aquarium enthusiast), then to the beer store for a keg refrigerator. I then helped her move into her dorm, which is an absolute hole in the basement of a dorm. At least I have my own place. I let some other friends borrow my car to move their stuff out of storage, and then I drove to the airport to pick up some friends who were getting in. Now, after helping everyone out, I can finally sit down on my old futon and rest.
