I am going to write about owning a dog. I believe that you should get your dog as a puppy. You need to be prepared and make sure you have a lot of space for a dog, especially if you get a big dog. Dogs need regular exercise and love and care. When choosing a breed make sure you look into their backgrounds and make sure it’s a right fit for you. Dogs are a joy to have but also consist of a lot of work. So only get a dog if you have the time and dedication that it takes to raise a dog. There are a lot of fun things you can do with a dog. Such as making getting they included in your holiday celebrations. People find it very fun and cute to make cheap halloween costumes for dogs. It is even fun to dress dogs up as little reindeers around the Christmas season. Whatever you choose to do with your dog, just remember if you give love, care and commitment then your dog will return the love and loyalty.

The selection of cool dog beds in pet stores these days is vast and if you are not sure which type you are looking for it can be very confusing. From my experience with my own dog and fosters that I take in from time to time, I can overwhelmingly recommend brands such as Big Shrimpy that offer the option of removable covers and water-proof interiors. Being able to remove the cover on my dog’s bed and either wash it or replace it has been invaluable at times. It is much more convenient than having to find a washer big enough to put the entire bed in, and then hoping it dries all the way! Plus, I can change the color of his bed as I see fit. The beds are also thick enough to be orthopedic for dogs with arthritis or joint problems that would make it uncomfortable for them to sleep on a thinner bed or on the floor.
